With the holidays in full motion, I was looking for a great blazer. You know, the kind that can go from work to weekend and day-to-night in a flash! The obsession with the color burgundy this season has been real. When I’m feeling a little pale because winter is on the way, burgundy just really warms and brightens up my complexion!
I found this gorgeous blazer at Ann Taylor. When you need a classic yet modern look and want to look vibrant for the holiday festivities, Ann Taylor is the place to go. The Tipped Tweed Newbury Blazer is that perfect blazer. I also like reading the reviews left by other shoppers and this jacket gets a top score. I opted for one of their versatile knits to wear underneath. A sweater you can wear alone or underneath some of your favorite wardrobe pieces is a must-have! The Button Cuff Sweater is the kind of sweater you’ll wear again and again and the wrist detail is beautiful.
To complete the look, I added one of my favorite skirts and some high boots in a pretty brown shade. The Flatland boot style by Wanted Shoes are stylish and comfortable… a great combination. I like it when fashion and function meet. These can be styled with everything from a skirt to denim and I like the subtle gold detailing at the heel. These are gorgeous!
