Velvet Leggings

Velvet Leggings

As the temperatures dip in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area I like to look stylish, yet keep cozy! It’s so important to not only look fashionable, but actually feel comfortable in what you’re wearing!

I recently went out for a date night to BV’s Grill a fabulous restaurant within The Time Nyack Hotel. I’ll be sharing more about the restaurant and hotel this week. For our date, I wanted to look nice, but also be comfortable.  The lobby and seating areas within this hotel are decorated so well, so we snapped a few pictures.

The Ella velvet legging by Lysse are my favorite leggings right now. I paired them with a burgundy (color of the season) pearl embellished sweater from Long Tall Sally Clothing. They have such a great selection of styles for women that keep you looking long and lean.  I received so many compliments on this outfit, that I wanted to share the details and links on DailyFashionista. I’m a firm believer in owning wardrobe pieces that are practical and fashion forward. These Lysse leggings are going to be worn on repeat all season for sure. As for the sweater, I wanted to try the pearl trend this season and this is just the right amount of embellishment. Quality style at affordable prices was achieved.

How are you preparing for the holiday season wardrobe-wise? A few easy updates is all it takes! Tweet @DanaPrigge and let’s keep the conversation going!
