Summer is in full-swing and social calendars are pretty full. A great time saver and also a way to treat yourself is with an amazing blowout. I’m not just talking any blowout, but the kind that adds that spring into your step and lasts for days (even in the summer heat).
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to interview Alli Webb creator of Drybar for a publication I was working for at the time. So, when I heard that there was a location that recently opened in Hoboken, NJ — I had to check it out! I really love the welcoming and cheerful vibe of the decor at the Drybar locations. The happy aesthetic definitely lifts your mood. Whether you’re there for a special occasion hairstyle, a girls-time get together or just because — there is something undeniable about receiving a fabulous blowout. You walk a little taller, you smile a bit more and you flip your hair with some sass.
When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Vanessa who was my hair stylist. We spoke about the look I was going for and I immediately felt comfortable. I was also offered a drink as a refresher from the summer heat. We decided that the Southern Comfort look would be flattering for my face shape and last nicely, so Vanessa was sure to lock in those curls.
