Fall Beauty Must-Haves

written by Dana August 28, 2018

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice everything. Truth be told, my schedule is about to get pretty busy. In September, I will be hosting and styling various fashion shows for Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus, so a girl has to look her best. We all know, that beauty products are not created equal and I’m here to share some standouts that are worth it! Keep on reading for quick tips and I’ll share an everyday look using these beauty gems.

  1. Drybar is synonymous with fabulous hair days and there’s good reason. When I heard the buzz about The Wrap Party curling wand, I had to test it out. This curling tool is like no other. From bohemian waves to curls you’re all set. And did I mention that two days later my hair still looked wonderful. Alli Webb knows what us women need! The two products I also used are the Mai Tai Spritzer Sea Salt Spray and Triple Sec Texture refresher. I am very pleased with the results and feel gorgeous!
  2. Rihanna and Fenty Beauty also knows how to make us ladies look and feel fab. When you look at the fall color story and trends it’s all about peacock blues and leopard look eyes. When I received the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow palette by Rihanna, I was blown away with how gorgeous this eyeshadow palette truly is. While I did use this for a more everyday look, I will be amping up my fall beauty routine and creating more dramatic looks (stay tuned). Also, the Fenty Beauty Pro filt’r eyeshadow primer, the Flyliner liquid eyeliner and all-over eyeshadow brush and tapered blending brush help to create the perfect beauty looks.
  3. Tarte has some of my favorite lip products, and I’ve spoken about the Rainforest of the Sea Collection more than a couple times already both on social media and the blog and even with Marie Claire on a Facebook live. So my recent winning combo is the Colorsplash lipstick in Vacay and H20 Gloss in Getaway. This is the perfect fall lip.
  4. I love a good beauty book don’t you?! Maybe you noticed the iconic book on my table by Kevyn Aucoin. Making Faces is a book I plan to talk more about at some point. The pages are filled with images and experiences which showcase Kevyn’s talent and inside tips. I really feel lucky to have this book, knowing what a legend he is in the beauty world.
